About Thomas Bratton

Tom’s Christian journey began as a Stephen Minister at Dexter United Methodist Church where he served four years and retired shortly before having to take care of his Mother.

Thomas is the author of the Becoming Anchored Devotional and its Companion Journal. He enjoys writing devotionals and sharing his experiences with others who want to live a life of hope and purpose.

Tom and his wife, Gina, love to travel and experience new things and meet people. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is a boating enthusiast. He enjoys woodworking and works as an independent home improvement and painting contractor.

Tom invites you to share your life experiences and your spiritual journey with him. He believes journaling is an act of worship, combined with self-care. Journaling can bring forth healing and self-awareness. He further states, “The importance of journaling is consistently, if not everyday, then once a week.” He has perfected the Becoming Anchored Companion Journal especially for those new to journaling.
