Perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Romans 5:4 (NIV)

In Romans 5, it is further stated that through our sorrows brings perseverance. Paul had mentioned in Philippians how he pressed on and moved forward. Life goes on, as they say. And so, it does!

Do everything to bring Glory to God. For through our sorrows, we hope to be of help to others who are going through the same circumstances we have. All through the Bible, it speaks of how one person went through difficult times and of those who sought hope in the Lord who then brought them through their trials.

Job lost everything he owned, everyone he loved.

Joseph was scared what folks would think when Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was crucified for our sins.

How does your perseverance reveal your character and where your hope lies?

In your Becoming Anchored Companion Journal, use the prompts and space for your reflections.
