Filled with Joy and Laughter
It’s easy to get through the day when you’re filled with joy and laughter. However, there are days we may be less motivated and discouraged. We all have difficulties or know someone who is struggling. Be it; health problems, grieving a loss of someone, financial difficulties, or just feeling sad that we’re not living the life we had hoped for.

Filled with Joy and Laughter
If you or someone you know is struggling to get through the day, then don’t be discouraged and keep hoping for a better tomorrow. But if you’re one of those people that always has a spring in their step and a smile on your face, then you should use this gift to be an encourager much like Barnabas.
- Who is Barnabas?
Barnabas, a faithful servant filled with the Holy Spirit, joyful and kindhearted, generously contributed to the support of the Apostles. Barnabas vouched for Paul during the early days of the Church so Paul would be accepted. The two began their journey building up the Church and communities. At some point, Barnabas and Paul had a falling out and never reunited. The two of them decided to go their separate ways and continue their mission of building the Church. Yet, they continued to Speak well of each other with great esteem. We can learn more about Barnabas in the book of Acts, and how he is known as a the “son of encouragement” to commit yourself to the Lord.

While they worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them” Acts 13:2(ESV)
I hope you find this encouraging and will pass it on to someone who may need to be encouraged themselves. At the same time, remember to do something every day that makes you happy. Even if for only 30 minutes. Soon you’ll be encouraged to do more of what makes you happy and get that spring in your step again.
