God’s grace is good for today

Jesus said to His followers, “Because of this, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you are going to eat. Do not worry about your body, what you are going to wear.”
Luke 12:22 (NLV)

God’s grace is good for today. We really don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. Now, while it’s fine to plan ahead, today is today and we should live to the fullest every moment of every day.

Therefore, our hope is with the Lord. He will supply us with our needs every day, one day at a time. When I was younger, starting out as a contractor running my own business, I was obsessed with planning, worrying, and always thinking of tomorrow. Well, tomorrow came again and again, but I missed many todays.

How about you? Are you hoping for a better tomorrow or are you living today?
