I happen to be going through a transition myself and am having a difficult time finding acceptance, let alone peace during  Challenging times. . Yes, I know we all go through challenging periods which usually result in something far greater than imagined.

Reminds me in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work for the good for those who love him and have been called according to His purposes”.

What I don’t understand is that the in between time is so unbearable for me right now. Is that how it was with you? From the outside looking in, others may not even know unless you say something.

I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but holding in your frustrations, sadness, and worries does nothing good for you, health wise. We already know the impact of how stress can affect us. It’s hard to share what you are going through. Who will listen anyhow.

Peace
                       Peace

Everyone has problems so why bother anyone with mine, I keep telling myself. If only I could find some peace during these turbulent times. I think again,

“Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 4:6–7

A pattern I have noticed is life is so much easier when I simply listen. Let go and Let God. To do so we must relinquish control and allow Him to guide me and you. This is why I believe journaling is so important. It is much easier to write things down, anything, and then let it go. And wait patiently upon the Lord.

The more I listen and write in my journal, the more I feel at ease knowing that God is in control. Our problems may not go away immediately but why suffer in the meantime. Read more: https://thomasbrattonauthor.com/hang-in-there-your-time-is-coming/
