Although today is the end of November, we should always show thanksgiving for even the small things in life. The sunrise on your way to work. A home cooked meal when you get home. A friend who you recall comes to mind. Be thankful for all things in every circumstance. Don’t just wait for that bonus to thank God. Unless you feel entitled to receive His blessings.
Imagine now the shepherds when they heard the good news of Jesus being born in a stable and were led by the stars. They thanked God, not just because they got to see Jesus born, but they thanked God for the stars at night. Joseph who was imprisoned and shown favor. David although an adulteress and a murderer was a man after God’s heart. Do you think they felt entitled?
Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT)
Thanksgiving
Though there are so many distractions in the world we live in today. Are focusing on these things. Or what is worthy of praise. God pours His blessings out but does your cup overfloweth. Sit quietly and reflect on your life. What are you thankful for?
Maintain a positive outlook with an attitude of gratitude. The more you focus on your blessings the happier you will be. The peace that comes from God will bring joy into your life and others will notice that joy comes only from the Lord.

Take some time to journal your thoughts in the Becoming Anchored Companion Journal: https://a.co/d/2yIS2rT
Receive your joy, share your blessings, be thankful for everything and everyone. Do not think of yourselves as better than they are. Always show gratitude and look for the good in everyone.
The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22,23

Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, I don’t thank you enough. I want to change that. Please help me keep focused on you and not my circumstances. Walk with me and be my guiding light. I adore you and am grateful for you. I have all my needs for which I am grateful for. Give me the opportunities the express your love to others with an attitude of gratitude. In Jesus name, Amen…
