Transparency is the key to Trust

People will let you down, don’t allow them to disappoint you.  Let them get to know you. Be honest with your intentions. Transparency is the key to trust. If you try to manipulate them, they won’t trust you. Who would! They can see right through you.

Trust is being yourself even when it is difficult. People believe in you when they know you care about them. Don’t be afraid of being empathetic, humility and integrity are the cornerstone of being transparent and authentic. People want to feel comfortable and secure around you. They want to know you have their best interests at heart. In a business, they want solutions to their needs, their wants, and their problems.

Transparency

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 (NIV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways to submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

Pray with Me

Father in Heaven, search my heart, show me how to trust others and to be trusted. Let me not think of myself as better than others. But with humility, let my words, and my actions be completely transparent. To be respectful of their boundaries, listen to others with genuine interest and to treat them with the same compassion as you have for me and others. In Jesus name, Amen…
